EPIC WIN!!...That is all.

Well folks, it is the end of another week here, and looking back I can honestly say it was a good one. Had some awesome times (chillin' with Mikaela, playin' Nazi Zombies with my homes' - not to mention those awesome chicken wings haha) plus I feel it's been a fully productive week. I finally understood what was being taught in Chem 30 (haha), me and Tyler FULLY achieved pure Ninjawesomeness on April 1st (plastic army men and little balloons EVERYWHERE hahahaha!!!!) and I dunno...it's just been a good week. Even got some new lyrics for a song comin' along here, gettin' some chords figured out for an old one (A Little Love - See earlier blog), and I even had the chance to play Guitar Hero Metallica, which is actually pretty good, as I suspected.

Even work has been good lately. Not too busy, but not completely dead either. And we totally PWN'd those phonebooks!!! WOOT!!!! My Party Plans kinda fell through there on Thursday, but still had an aight time blowin' heads offa the undead with a Magnum. Haha good times, good times.

Subliminal Messaging (well...actually more like Instant Messaging haha)

Well I was readin' my emails, thought I'd act upon the suggestion.

So what do I think about free music, eh? Well, I think that free music is great. I think that all music should be free, unless your actually buying a CD or something.

I mean, especially with I-pods, you buy the freakin 200 or 300 dollar thing and then you gotta buy all your music, song by song, too? And lots of people will say "Yeah well lots of places do that, not just I-tunes." And to that I say "Yeah, and a lot of places play Celine Dion in their elevators...that don't make it right." No, music shouldnt have to be payed for if you're downloading it, ESPECIALLY if you bought the stupid I-thing in the first place.

I think paying for downloadable music is like a fine on happy.

Well, that's what I think. The Thoughts Of A Rocker.

Late Nights and RB Parties

Well, here I am, 3 in the morning (again), waiting for Tyler. He was supposed to be back like an hour ago, bu whatever...

Anyway, this week my parents are in Vegas, so you know what that means...PARTAY!!!

So yeah, I been stayin' up late with my buddies, havin' sweet rave parties, Rock Banding, watchin' movies (Punisher: War Zone, Quantum of Solace, and The Rocker), havin' awesome pizza, Dr. Pepper, and playin' nikki-nikki-nine-doors.

It's been pretty sweet.

So yeah, Tyler just walked in here, and that's about all I gotta say.

Chillin' Out, Maxin', Relaxin' all Cool

Shootin' some b-ball outsidde of the school. Haha. You knew it was coming. You were probably even singing it in your head. Your probably singing it right now.

Anyway, as I was saying. I think that chocolate milk is undisputedly one of the best drinks in the world. Definitely top 5. Right up there with ice tea, Dr. Pepper, Jones Soda, and orange juice with Sprite. MMMMMMMMMM

God Mode

Lemme just begin by saying: God of War is freaking EPIC!!!! There are few games better than the GoW franchise, for many reasons. Storyline, protagonist, gameplay mechanics, sweet combos, bosses, and basically everything!!! If you've never played, then do so.

Anyway, I beat the game at Christmas time on Normal Mode (Spartan I think) and then beat God of War II shortly after. But now, I went back on GoW and went to God Mode, the hardest mode in the game, and it's not as crazy as Titan Mode on GoWII but it's still pretty freakin' hard. I mean, there's one part where you can gain a power called Medusa's Gaze, which lets you turn any enemy into stone, but to get it you have to rip the head off of Medusa. And that took me for frekain' ever!!! It takes like a million hits (over 9000!!) to kill her but SHE can kill YOU in only TWO!!!! I mean talk about unfair!! And even with blocking and special attacks and everything it still takes forever to kill her!!

And there's a part shortly after where you're character, Kratos (basically the best character ever created...ever! :P) has to climb across a rope over hanging a chasm type-deal, and there's like a thousand enemies trying to knock you off and they ALSO take forever to die! I finally got past it after at least alf an hour, but still.......madness I tell you..............MADNESS!!!!!!!

Reflection, The Future, and Discovery

Well, I've been reflecting on recent events, and have come to the conclusion that even though life is crazy, mean, and a little bit like a roundhouse kick to the cochlea, that it can also be amazing, breathtaking, and as sweet as putting a tablespoon of sugar in with your Sunny D.

Alot has happened to me over the past while, some of it amazing, some of it not so awesome. But I know that whatever life hands me, I can take, because God never leads you anywhere you can't get out of.

I have had the pleasure of knowing of the best friends that I've ever had. Her name is Haley. She walked into my life a few years ago, grade 9 I believe, and we've been friends ever since. We Rockbanded together, we went through good and bad times together, we even went to Wall-E in the Barrhead theater together just because we're that pro. She's part of the ninja brotherhood, the Barrhead Mafia, and she laughed at all my stupid jokes. We were even gonna be grad partners.

But then, some stuff happened at school I guess, and she moved to the Fort for whatever reason, and I haven't really had a chance to talk to her since. And while this is hurting me, I can't imagine how it's hurting her, and that makes me forget even my own pain.

I still think of us as great friends, but I can't get a hold of her, and yeah......

Anyway, I also have so many other aweosme friends, and I am so greatful for each and every one of them. Without friends, no one could ever weather any storm. With or without God, but especially without Him.

On the other side of things, I've been practicing guitar, learning some awesome new stuff, and now my long awauted goal of forming a youth worship team for my church is even coming together, and far better and easier than I expected. We're learning some awesome new songs, I'm bringing in a unique perspective to worship, especially for my church, and I'm also learning a few things.

You see, worship in my church has always been...well...not the best. 8 times outta 10 it's way too slow, the wrong pitch, the wrong beat, and just way too difficult to sing to, which kinda destroys the whole worship thing. What I hope to achieve with this is to, long term, get the church at least keeping the right tempo. I really want to bring my all into this, and I know it won't be easy, although probably easier than first expected, and I'll probably meet resistance, but bring it on.

Also, my future, I think for one of the first times in my life, is coming together. I plan on going to NAIT in Edmonton to do Culinary Arts, eventually go to Greece or somewhere there to study under some awesome cooks, and I'm finally going for my driver's license again on Wednesday. WOOT

Everything feels right, like it's falling into place. At least in that area.

So yeah, that's more or less what's been on my chest for the past while here.

Light On

I dunno bout any of you, but I just heard this song recently, and I think it's an aweosme song. It's got great lyrics, music, guitar, the whole shebang. So, the song is Light On by David Cook, and here's the lyrics:

Never really said too much
Afraid it wouldn’t be enough
Just try to keep my spirits up
When there’s no point in grieving

Doesn’t matter anyway
Words could never make me stay
Words will never take my place
When you know I’m leaving

[Chorus]
Try to leave a light on when I’m gone
Something I rely on to get home
One I can feel at night
A naked light, a fire to keep me warm
Try to leave a light on when I’m gone
Even in the daylight, shine on
And when it’s late at night you can look inside
You won’t feel so alone

You know we’ve been down that road
What seems a thousand times before
My back to a closing door and my eyes to the seasons
That roll out underneath my heels
And you don’t know how bad it feels
To leave the only one that
I have ever believed in

[Chorus]
Try to leave a light on when I’m gone
Something I rely on to get home
One I can feel at night
A naked light, a fire to keep me warm
Try to leave a light on when I’m gone
Even in the daylight, shine on
And when it’s late at night you can look inside
You won’t feel so alone

Sometimes it feels like we’ve run out of luck
When the signal keeps on breaking up
When the wires cross in my fate
You’ll start my heart again
When I come along

[Chorus]
Try to leave a light on when I’m gone
Something I rely on to get home
One I can feel at night
A naked light, a fire to keep me warm
Try to leave a light on when I’m gone
Even in the daylight, shine on
And when it’s late at night you can look inside
You won’t feel so alone

Numbah 2

Aww yeeeah...got anotha bomb track comin' at ya...my second songwriting deal...check it check it.

Dyin’ Slow
Well I think
That this time
I couldn't do it on my own
But I tried
And this time
I think gotta let you know

That I tried and tried but
This time
I'm goin' down
And I'm burnin' out
Baby all my strength is gone
And I'm fadin' out
Of consciousness, of reality
Of everything that I used to be
And now I'm...dyin' slow
Well I tried to be everything
To everyone
But that didn't work
I'm way past long gone
I tried to do everything
That I thought I could
And then some

And I couldn't hold on and

This time
I'm goin' down
And I'm burnin' out
Baby my strength is gone
And now I'm fadin' out
Of consciousness, of memory
Of everything that I couldn't be
And now I'm...dyin' slowly

This time
Was the time
That I needed you
Just like you needed me
And I was there for you
But you weren't there for me
And now I'm fadin' slow
And I'm tryin' to hold on
To everything that I thought I was
That I thought I had
But it's slippin' through
My fingertips
And now...

This timeI'm goin' down
And I'm burnin' out
Baby my strength is gone
And I'm fadin' out
Of consciousness, of reality
Because of everything that you took from me

And this time
Is different now
I can't carry on
Not like the other times
Cuz all my strength is gone
And now
I'm finished with
Dyin' slow

WIN

Alriiiiiight. Got Twitter up and goin'. Once this collaboration thing comes together, that WIN up there is gonna be followin' Mr. EPIC. That's right. Gonna be an EPIC WIN. We gonna be party like its 1969. (We been livin' most our lives livin' an Amish Paradise....)

Put down your remote control, throw out the TV Guide

UHF. A movie that is completely random, and features Weird Al...how does it get any better!!??
If you haven't seen this movie then see it. If you've never heard of it, then you fail at life. So watch it. Do it NAOUGHW!!!!
Basically, the short and long of the rundown is that Weird Al and his buddy go from job to job, then one day they're landed with a rundown TV Station, a UHF station called Channel 62. Hilarity then ensues, with random shows like Conan the Librarian (fairly self-explanatory), Raoul's Wild Kingdom (where you teach poodles to fly, learn that turtles are nature's suction cup, and ants "get REEEEEAL mad when you do this! *shakes ant farm*"
This movie is hilarious, because I just love random stuff, plus Weird Al is my homeboy.

youknowwhatimsayin??

Do you? Do you!!??
Cuz' what I'm sayin is that you should check this out, my proverbial bruthas and sistas. My first attempt at song writing. Just cuz I'm THAT pro.

Song #1

A Little Love
Verse 1:
When you feel like letting go
And it hurts to say hello
And the world comes crashing
Down upon you

Verse 2:When the world is on your shoulders
And the hurt is almost over
That's when you feel like giving
In completely

Chorus 1:But the end is almost here
And the dawn is oh so near
All you need is a little love
Somebody to help you through
And the pain is almost done
The war is nearly won
And all you need is a little love
A little love

Verse 3:Don't you think for a moment
That no one loved you here
'Cuz we all stare at your photograph
Through eyes all blurred with tears

Verse 4:And now we sit in pain
Wishing you back in vain
Things will never be the same
Without you

Chorus 2:Oh the end is almost here
The dawn is oh so near
All we need is a little love
Somebody to see us through
And when the pain it gets too much
Or life starts treatin' you too rough
Just remember that there's
Somebody who loves you
And when people pass you by
And you're hurting deep inside
Just remember
Somebody loves you
Somebody loves you

Max Payne

Even though this movie came out awhile back, and I've seen it 3 or 4 times now, I bring it up now because my dad is watching it for the first time.
Personally, I enjoyed it. It was a good, mindless violence type of movie with just enough story to keep you interested. Plus whatserface was pretty hot.
Although, the end was kind of weird. Everything from where Max takes the drug on is weird. But yeah....good movie nonetheless.

Juice Springsteen??

Hey, I don't really know what I'm doin' here....thought I'd try my hand at this blog thing, since Nathan's Daily Rant kinda fell through the roof........ :P
